Swim Suit Policy

DHS swimmers and divers must wear the DHS team suit at all meets and competitions. The team suit is usually ordered in a smaller size than a recreational suit to reduce resistance. Conversely, practice suit(s) are usually loose fitting (also called “drag suits”). Some swimmers use old suits for this purpose. Girls are not allowed to wear two-piece bathing suits or suits that have the tie straps in the back. What we mean by this are the ones that you actually have to take the strings and tie them in a bow yourself. GHSA policy states that swimsuits may not have ANY logos on it other than a Dunwoody Paw or the "Speedo" "TYR" etc... logo that indicates the brand.
