Sara Reul is excited to be Head Coach of the DHS Swim and Dive Team this year! This is Sara’s 6th year teaching math at DHS and 5th year coaching swimming. She started swimming on her summer league swim team when she was 3 years old. Sara fell in love with swimming at a young age and started swimming competitively at the age of 7. After high school, she received a full athletic scholarship to swim for Western Kentucky University. She completed her 7th year as Head Coach for the Inverness Swim Team this past summer. Go Wildcats!
Birthday April 28th
Coach Corky Gibbons has over 13 years of swim coaching experience at the high school, club, and masters levels. Corky swam for and set records at Marist while in high school and was a letterman and member of the A-Club for the University of Alabama swim team. He has competed in swimming on a national level and continues to compete at the masters level. He received his degree in biology from Mercer University. He worked for over 20 years in television and communications for NBC, CBS, and ABC News and Sports. Both of his sons graduated from Dunwoody, in '06 and '09.
Birthday February 24th
Rachel Taylor has been teaching at Dunwoody High school for 5 years and is excited to coach for her 5th year! She attended the University of Georgia. Rachel swam summer league for 14 years and just finished her 8th year as a coach.
Birthday June 29th
Chase Barron is excited for his 2nd year coaching the Wildcats! Chase is an accomplished diver, qualifying and placing top 10 at the state meet for all 4 years at Centennial High School. Chase found his love of flipping early in life when he was a competitive gymnast until he was 12 years old making the transition to diving a natural one. He currently works as an Advertising Project Manager for the Home Depot. Let's have an AWESOME SEASON! Go WILDCATS!
